Ultimate model diva Naomi Campbell is on the cover and looking very sexy (43 years old, people!) Naomi is the Executive Producer and cohost of the show The Face which sounds similar to America’s Top Model but I would never say that directly to Ms. Campbell as she is famous for a short temper. (I used to work for Conde Nast and let me tell ya—I have some gooood Naomi Campbell stories!)

Anyhoo, after 28 years in the business Naomi is now doling out her best advice for staying happy & healthy plus she shows us a few of her favorite yoga poses. Check them out here!

What Did We Learn This Month?

 Shape:

March 2014

Sharon Stone photographed by Nino Munoz

Sharon Stone photographed by Nino Munoz

Shape Cover Star for March 2014:

Are you ready for the sexiness of Sharon “Mother F***in Stone? Well here she is folks—does 56 get any hotter? Mrow!

Sharon has been in a million jillion movies over the years and will soon star in TV’s Agent X playing the Vice President of the United States. In addition to her show business life she has been an activist for amFAR (the AIDS research foundation) for over 20 years. Add all of that along with being a mom to three boys and that makes for one BUSY woman!

In spite of Hollywood’s obsession with youth she refuses to go under the knife and instead enjoys the good health she now enjoys after having survived a stroke in 2001 (yikes!)

The 24-Hour Fitness club devotee (earphones in and no chit-chat on the gym floor, please) likes to change up her workout with a variety of exercises including a few you can see here where she uses a chair for balance and strength poses. (I do not recommend trying this at home if you are as accident-prone as I am!)

What Did We Learn This Month? @Shape_Magazine Kate Hudson on the Cover 5

What Did We Learn This Month?

 Shape: November 2013

Kate Hudson photographed by Nino Munoz

Kate Hudson photographed by Nino Munoz

Shape Cover Star for November:

A friend of a friend of mine met Kate Hudson once a few years before her breakout performance in the Cameron Crowe film Almost Famous and said Kate was absolutely the sweetest, most down-to-earth person ever.  I always think about that when I read interviews with the actress as she seems like she would be a cool, chill BFF.

Kate is the mother of two young boys, engaged to singer Matt Bellamy of Muse and has her own workout line Fabletics hitting the market. Meaning she doesn’t exactly have all of the time in the world to work out. Luckily the actress has a dancing background and fits in as much Pilates as she can into her busy schedule.

“Drop the Weights”

You don’t need a set of dumbbells to work your muscles—try some of these moves from trainer Jessica Rucker.

Workout of the month 001

“Splash & Dash”

Water-based running is easier on your joints while also providing excellent cardio exercise. So if you have access to a pool—check out this workout plan designed by Bernard Baski.

 Water workouts Shape magazine 001

A NYC-based ballerina (Mary Helen Bowers) teaches Ballet Beautiful and shows how to perform a perfect “arabesque lift” and “swan arms” in this feature.
