Book Vs Movie
“Big Fish“
The Margos Embrace the Magical with the 1998 Novel by Daniel Wallace and the Tim Burton 2003 Movie
It looks like the universe wants us to tackle something a little more fanciful with this episode being about all things Big Fish including the novel by Daniel Wallace and the 2003 movie by Tim Burton. The official title of the book is Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions and you want to talk magical realism? This book has plenty of it along with fantastical escapades and beautiful language. (Spoiler—we like it quite a bit!)
The differences between the novel and the 2003 film directed by past Book Vs Movie subject (Planet of the Apes & Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) Tim Burton are plentiful and we discuss them in this episode. (Just click the link at the bottom of this post to listen!)
