“The Bling Ring” is a 2013 film written and directed by Sofia Coppola and is based on the true story of a group of teenagers known as the Bling Ring, who used the internet to track celebrities’ whereabouts to rob their homes. The screenplay is based on Nancy Jo Sales’ 2010 Vanity Fair article “The Suspects Wore Louboutins.“
